Welcome to XION
XION is a space where digital art and creativity merge in ever-evolving forms. Hosted on OnCyber, it requires no installation and loads in just 10–15 seconds. It’s a metaverse-based hub for immersive exhibitions, digital experimentation, and curated NFT experiences — a place where technology and imagination coexist through curation, collaboration, and community.
XION operates in rotating six-month seasons, each introducing a new curatorial program. Every season brings a refreshed selection of artists, collections, and collaborations, highlighting different voices and practices within the digital art landscape. Past seasons remain accessible as archives on our website, allowing visitors to trace how the ecosystem evolves over time.
XION is also a living cyberpunk city — a sprawling digital world filled with things to explore and discover. Wander through glowing streets, encounter NPCs with stories to tell, find hidden easter eggs, or use the teleport to jump in the space station. Beyond its immersive cityscape, XION houses five dedicated spaces for art — each with its own atmosphere and curatorial focus:
-
The Exhibition Hall – A space for traditional and mixed-media works curated by us
-
The Metacanva Container Building – Dedicated to individual artists each presenting a collection
-
The Block – A space for NFT collections of all kinds, focused on projects rather than individuals
-
The Collab Shack – Each season the Collab Shack feature a collection curated by an external invited curator
-
The Cinema – Showcasing either on-chain video projects or a video related to one of the exhibited artists/projects of the season.
The Exhibition Hall
The Exhibition Hall is a curated gallery space bringing together painting, illustration, photography, and mixed media within a shared digital environment. Each work is carefully selected and placed by our curatorial team, creating a landscape where distinct artistic practices meet and interact. The Exhibition Hall weaves individual pieces from different artists throughout the space, encouraging visual dialogue and unexpected connections between mediums, styles, and perspectives. Visitors are invited to move freely, encountering artworks in relation to one another and discovering how singular voices can resonate within a collective setting. The Exhibition Hall evolves over time, reflecting our ongoing curatorial choices and the artists we choose to highlight in each season.
The Metacanva Container Building
The Metacanva Container Building is dedicated to artists whose practice is rooted in digital creation. Each artist is given a private, self-contained space — a personal digital studio — designed to reflect their universe, working methods, and visual language. These rooms function as immersive extensions of the artists themselves, where works are presented as complete bodies rather than isolated pieces. The focus is on authorship, continuity, and experimentation, allowing visitors to step directly into an artist’s world and engage with their practice on its own terms. The Metacanva Container Building highlights artists who, in most cases, engage with the blockchain as a native context for their practice, using it to explore new modes of presentation, circulation, and sustainability in digital art.
The Block
The Block is dedicated to NFT collections — from iconic series to anonymous experiments. It’s not about who’s behind them or how they’re valued, but about the worlds they create and the cultures they shape. Each room functions as a self-contained gallery where a single collection takes center stage. Visitors can step inside and experience its full visual language, rhythm, and community. Whether it’s a celebrated project, a PFP-driven collective, or a forgotten corner of the chain, The Block treats every collection as part of the evolving narrative of digital culture.
The Collab Shack
The Collab Shack hosts curated exhibitions assembled by external curators — independent selections that bring together multiple artists, ideas, and aesthetics. It’s a space for others’ visions: each presentation reflects a distinct curatorial voice and a fresh way of seeing on-chain art. By welcoming outside perspectives, The Collab Shack expands the dialogue around digital culture, offering new connections between works, movements, and creative ecosystems. It’s collaboration through curation — a conversation between curators, artists, and the evolving medium itself.
The Cinema
The Cinema is a space dedicated to moving images within the on-chain and artistic ecosystem. It presents either on-chain video projects or videos connected to the exhibited artists — spanning motion-based artworks, audiovisual experiments, narrative forms, and interactive pieces. The program explores how video inhabits digital and blockchain contexts, whether as subject, medium, or metaphor. Each screening invites reflection on time, motion, and media in the digital age. The Cinema is not just about watching; it’s about encountering how video and blockchain intertwine to create new temporal, aesthetic, and conceptual experiences.
